The Southeast Kansas Recycling Center is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to give area recyclers a place to bring materials, as well as educate the community on recycling ♻ Not only does the Center incur costs to recycle some paper, but there are also labor costs and equipment maintenance costs; costs that are necessary to process and ship out the recyclables you bring us. We would like to thank the following for grants and funding that make Southeast Kansas Recycling possible; Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Crawford County, The City of Pittsburg, and Roll Off Service. Most of all we would like to thank you. Thanks for caring about the Earth enough to make a difference.
Our drop off hours are as follows:
CLOSED: Sundays and Mondays
Tuesdays – Fridays: 10 a.m. til 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. til 5 p.m.
We are located at 615 S. Joplin in Pittsburg Kansas and can be reached by calling 620-231-8930 or by stopping in to see us during business hours.
We also buy Aluminum Beverage Cans on Wednsdays and Saturdays from 9a.m. til 3p.m. and we pay $0.35 / thirty five cents a pound for cans. Please enter at gate #3 and wait by the trailer for an attendant.
Southeast Kansas Recycling ♻ Would like to thank all of those whom come to our facility to volunteer. Stop on by and volunteer, we welcome your help. I'm sure the Earth appreciates it too. When coming in to volunteer your time please no "open toe" shoes or sandals. Please wear comfortable work shoes. And once agian, Thanks!
